We’re hiring an Investment Director in Stockholm


We’re looking for a new team member to join our Stockholm office as an Investment Director.

We’re currently combing though our network, but we know from 16 years in venture capital that great talent can come from anywhere. We hope you’ll take a second to apply.

We’re looking for:

→ Someone with strong (good) opinions.

Ideally you shouldn’t go with the flow, but challenge us and our portfolio to look at the world differently. You are allowed to be a little annoying with your strong opinions if you’re down to earth about it.

→ The human element

There’s a lot of emotions in early-stage investing. More than likely, something will go wrong in your portfolio company. We don’t just need a hunter, but someone who makes lasting positive impressions on everyone they meet.

→ International caliber

We hope you’ve been deeply involved in Venture or Startups, and a good a network in the Nordic and Baltic markets is a bonus. But it’s not a necessity.  We’re wide open to the person coming from anywhere and from any sort of field (operations, technical, consultant, whatever). At the end of the day, what we’re looking for is someone who adds to our knowledge.

Maybe it’s our Finnish heritage, but we’re a pretty relaxed and down-to-earth crew. Our international team of 14 is split between our Helsinki HQ and Stockholm.

Since 2005, over 70 companies have trusted us to back them, including Wolt, Blueprint Genetics, Swappie, and Omocom. Typically we invest in the Nordics and Baltics.

We aim to be the first institutional investor that entrepreneurs turn to when raising their first round. This comes with its own challenges, but also has very rewarding payoffs when companies like Wolt transform from a demo and a pitch deck to multi-billion dollar company in front of your eyes.

We’re proactive people. After we invest, we’ve identified that talent and expansion are the keys to success. We focus on building real trust with our portfolio and deliver tangible wins. As a few examples, our Talent and Expansion team works with founders to recruit c-level talent, knock down barriers for international expansion, and runs experiments like Inventure’s Sales Academy to solve hiring challenges we see across the portfolio.
