Nordigen is an authorized Account Information Service Provider that provides free access to bank data and premium data insights. Nordigen is working for a future, where open banking is freely available to all businesses that need it.

Up to 90% of loan applications around the world are rejected. The numbers can go even higher, as moving between EU countries for work opportunities increases and people’s credit histories get left behind.

Nordigen co-founder Mesters explains the alternative: “If you switched from focusing on credit histories to focusing on bank data, you would immediately be able to include twice as many people into the effective system of credit.”

Nordigen was established in 2016 in Riga, Latvia by a two Google Demo Day graduates, Rolands Mesters and Roberts Bernans.
