Smartphones are the most personal devices in history, but they know surprisingly little about their human counterpart. On desktop retailers can use cookies to understand their customers’ behavior, but on mobile everyone sees the same ad. There is no way to capture the long tail as they have to reach out to the whole audience of a publisher, limited targeting for brands and low prices for the publishers. Glimr’s mission is to change this.

Glimr provides targeting on mobile devices based on users offline behaviour. It works much like retargeting on desktop through the use of cookies. Glimr makes it possible to match brands to consumers using offline data from stores. Thanks to the improved targeting brands can communicate in a more personal and relevant way.
